Ron Frost Bike Across the USA

Is it time to start living your DREAMS?

On 8/14/24 my bike and I boarded a train for Washington, DC

My goal was to ride my bicycle across the USA. I didn't quite know what to expect. All I knew was it was going to be good...

After 67 days and approximately 3500 miles, I had made it to the Pacific Coast!  It was a journey of a lifetime... meeting so many amazing people along the way, sharing countless stories, connecting with the beauty of nature, and cycling through a vast variety of paths, trails, and roads!

The Bike Path Less Traveled...

Originally the plan was to ride the various portions of the Great American Rail Trail from Washington, DC to the Pacific Coast in Washington State. However, when I got to Indiana I decided to re-route my journey a bit more south to ride the Katy Trail in Missouri, and then to eventually connect to the TransAmerican (the oldest and most traveled ACA route).

Once I arrived in Pueblo, CO, I changed the route again (due to temperatures getting colder up north), and began trekking southward towards Santa Fe, NM to ride the rest of the journey via the Route 66 ACA route, and finishing at the Santa Monica Pier.

Made it to the Pacific Coast!

After 67 days of cycling, It was certainly an exciting moment to finally arrive at the Santa Monica Pier!  The other cyclist I was riding with is Nate Johnson who I met riding along route 50 in Kansas. Since we were both heading west with the goal to reach the Pacific Coast it made sense to travel together. Nate has done several previous bike touring adventures, yet this was also his first time crossing the USA.

It was great to make a new cycling friend and have someone to share the journey with!

There are many things relatable between a bicycle journey, a business venture, managing a sales team, leading an organization, or living an ideal life!  They all require the right mindset as well as critical thinking and leadership skills. Patience, the ability to deal with unexpected challenges, and the endurance to go the extra mile...are also needed!  Setting goals, planning, and staying motivated are must haves.  While you or your team might not desire to ride a bike across the USA... I can certainly empower, motivate, and help facilitate the positive changes that you are looking for in a motivational keynote message or interactive workshop. Between my background of leadership training, business coaching, team building strategies and goal setting activities I have helped many organizations achieve greater results, and I look forward to helping you and your team achieve success too!

“I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
